Green Chain Walk (80km/50mi), London
This route is one of seven such walks within the Mayor of London’s strategic walking routes. All of them can be found on www.walklondon.org.uk and under their respective name on this website:
Capital Ring
Green Chain Walk
Jubilee Walkway
Lea Valley Walk
LOOP Walk
Thames Path

The reason for the name is that this walk connects 300 open spaces that official’s want protected from building activity. Many parts of this walk are also part of the Capital Ring.
